Students are required to submit a written report upon completion of the project. This course can only be taken once for stipend option only; no course credit is assigned.

For projects that span more than one semester, successful completion of UROP110 is a pre-requisite for proceeding to UROP120 of the same project; successful completion of UROP120 is a pre-requisite for proceeding to UROP130. Approval by faculty supervisor(s) is required. Students are required to submit a written report upon completion of each course.

The series enables a student to complete a faculty-led research project that can possibly span three terms. UROP 1100 is the first course of such a project series. For projects that span more than one term, successful completion of UROP 1100 is a pre-requisite for proceeding to UROP 2100 of the same project; successful completion of UROP 2100 is a pre-requisite for proceeding to UROP 3100.
