Activities involve discussion sessions with advisors, executive forums, and mentoring program.

- TEMG 300DThe Consulting Process3 Credit(s)DescriptionToday, more than ever, it is likely that engineering and business graduates will act as internal or external consultants early in their careers. This may occur as part of their functional responsibilities or as a component of a project or program that they are assigned to. In order to contribute successfully in such situations students need to be aware of the consulting process and have a basic understanding of project management. This course is targeted at undergraduate students who intend to pursue careers in a variety of industries. The course will create a framework of understanding and introduce students to the key concepts in both the consulting process and project management. The course will also present to introduce the class to entrepreneurship with a focus on intrapreneurship. Priority is given to student studying in the Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management, and other interested students with consent from the course instructor.
