- IIMP 6050Advanced Engineering Analysis[3-1-1:4]DescriptionThis course makes students acquainted with numerous quantitative measures to carry out practical quantitative analysis by applying to real-life challenges. It focuses on user-oriented and collaborative approach to guide students to acquire new tools and new knowledge by finishing several inspiring projects within course time. Students will have hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, user research, collaboration and project management. The course contains a number of different modules that are multidisciplinary and generally applicable to a high variety of problems. Enrolment in the course requires approval of the course instructor.

MPhil in Individualized Interdisciplinary Program (IIP) students must register and pass this course in their first term of study. PhD (IIP) students must register and pass this course for two terms in their first year of study. Graded PP, P or F.
- IIMP 6990MPhil Thesis ResearchDescriptionMaster's thesis is research supervised by a faculty member. A successful defense of the thesis leads to the grade Pass. No course credit is assigned.
- IIMP 7990Doctoral Thesis ResearchDescriptionOriginal and independent doctoral thesis research. A successful defense of the thesis leads to the grade Pass. No course credit is assigned.
